4-Day Northern Serengeti Crossing Safari
Head deep into the Northern Serengeti to witness one of nature’s greatest dramas — the wildebeest crossing the Mara River.
Fly into the Serengeti to save a day of driving, then make your way back by road through the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire.
The smartest way to see the northern circuit. A short flight drops you straight into the Serengeti, giving you three full days on the plains without the long drive out.
From there, your guide drives you back through the highlands — with a full game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater and a final day among the elephants and baobabs of Tarangire — so every day is a safari day.
Morning flight from Arusha to the Serengeti, where your guide meets you. Afternoon game drive on the way to your camp.
Explore the Seronera valley and the surrounding plains in search of big cats, giraffes and herds of wildebeest and zebra.
Another full day in the Serengeti. Your guide will head to wherever the wildlife is best, from the kopjes to the river crossings, depending on the season.
Morning game drive, then drive to the Ngorongoro highlands with a stop at the crater viewpoint.
Descend into the crater for a game drive among lions, buffalo, hippos, flamingos and black rhino. Afternoon at leisure or an optional coffee-farm visit in Karatu.
A final game drive in Tarangire, famous for its elephant herds and baobab trees, before driving back to Arusha.
